Mobile service across Central Oregon — or bring it to our shop

A damaged RV windshield often isn't safe (or easy) to drive, so we come to you. Our mobile team services motorhomes and Sprinter vans throughout Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, Sisters, and the surrounding Central Oregon area — at your home, campsite, or RV park. For larger jobs and ADAS calibration, you can also schedule at our Bend shop. Whichever works for your rig, we'll get you back on the road with clear glass and a clean seal.

What we replace and repair

Our flat-glass technicians specialize in one-piece and split windshield installation and replacement for motorhomes, motorcoaches, RVs, and Sprinter vans:

  • Windshields — one-piece and split, laminated front glass for Class A, B, and C
  • Side and rear windows — tempered glass replacement, custom-cut to fit your existing frames
  • Foggy dual-pane windows — we delaminate, dry, and reseal (or replace) windows clouded by failed seals, saving you the cost of full units where possible
  • Custom fabrication — we cut glass to fit when a part isn't available off the shelf
  • Discontinued and older rigs — vehicle no longer in production? We can still take care of you

We use high-quality OEM and aftermarket windshields, moldings, gaskets, frameless windows, and tempered glass, and every installation meets or exceeds FMVSS and ANSI safety standards.

Why RV glass is a specialized job

RV windshields face stresses passenger-car glass never sees, and that's exactly why the wrong installer causes problems down the road. A few things our experience accounts for:

  • Size and weight — large laminated panels require the right equipment and more hands to set safely and squarely.
  • Longer cure times — bigger, heavier glass needs more time to bond. We won't rush it; we'll tell you exactly when your rig is safe to drive rather than cut the cure short for convenience.
  • Water-leak prevention — RV windshield seals are a common leak point, and water intrusion is expensive. Our installs prioritize proper sealing and drainage.
  • Chassis flex — motorhomes flex as they travel, which can pop a poorly set window or windshield. We account for it so your glass stays put.

Sprinter Vans & Flat Glass Repair

Nothing beats a Sprinter van for travel in Central Oregon and across the state. Oregon Windshield's experienced flat glass technicians specialize in replacement of glass for commerical and recreational sprinter vans.

Oregon Windshield is a locally owned company and our customer service team will help you with your windshield replacement or repair insurance claim. And our competitive cash prices allow you to get back to traveling safely before you know it.

How Class A, B, and C replacements differ

Each motorhome class has its own chassis design, glass curvature, and mounting system, so the installation approach changes with the rig:

  1. Class A — large, fixed laminated windshields, often panoramic, that contribute to the vehicle's structural support.
  2. Class B camper vans — bonded composite frames with moderately sized laminated panels.
  3. Class C — smaller, flatter windshields that may be tempered or laminated.

Each demands careful measurement, the right adhesive, and managed cure times to keep your rig safe and driving true.

Sprinter vans

Few vehicles travel Central Oregon better than a Sprinter, and we service both commercial and recreational vans. Sprinter glass has its own quirks — curved profiles and integrated ADAS — so for chips we use resins matched to Mercedes-Benz optical standards, and for replacements we fit OEM-equivalent laminated windshields for a flawless fit and correct sensor function. We also handle Sprinter side and rear tempered glass, plus tinting and UV film to cut cabin heat.

ADAS calibration

If your motorhome or Sprinter van has advanced driver-assistance features — lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise — the cameras and radar sensors mounted at the windshield must be recalibrated after replacement. We perform this in-house: leveling the vehicle, positioning calibration targets at the exact specified distances, and running diagnostics to confirm everything functions correctly. Skipping this step compromises the very safety systems you rely on, so we build it into the job rather than sending you elsewhere.

Automotive Glass Types: Properties and Applications
Glass Variety Key Property Typical Application
Laminated Exceptional impact resistance Front windshields, panoramic viewing areas
Tempered Breaks into safe fragments Side windows, rear vents, smaller panels

Laminated vs. tempered glass

We use laminated glass for windshields — two layers bonded with a PVB interlayer that holds fragments in place on impact, dampens road noise, and supports ADAS sensors. Tempered glass is used for side and rear windows; it's heat-treated for strength and breaks into small, pebble-like pieces for occupant safety. Which glass goes where affects both how a piece can be repaired and what a replacement costs.

Repair or replace?

Smaller rock chips (about quarter-sized) and single hairline cracks can often be repaired with resin injection. A full replacement is necessary when a crack runs past about six inches, reaches the edge of the glass, when there are multiple impact points, or when the interlayer is shattered, the seal is compromised, or sensor alignment is affected. We'll assess your damage honestly and recommend the safe call — not the expensive one.

Insurance claims made simple

We're locally owned, and our team will help you through your RV or Sprinter van glass claim from start to finish:

  1. We document the damage with clear photos and a detailed estimate.
  2. You file with your auto or RV insurance provider.
  3. We schedule your approved service at your convenience.
  4. We can often direct-bill your insurer, reducing what you pay up front.

Many policies waive the deductible on glass-only claims, so service is often more affordable than owners expect. Prefer to skip insurance? Ask about our competitive cash pricing.

What does RV windshield replacement cost?

It depends on your vehicle's class, the glass required, the severity of the damage, and whether ADAS calibration is needed — anywhere from chip repairs under $100 to premium laminated windshields over $1,000. For a class-by-class breakdown of what drives the price, see our

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer mobile RV service, or do I bring my rig in?Both. We come to you across Central Oregon for most work, and you can schedule at our Bend shop for larger replacements and ADAS calibration.

How long does an RV windshield replacement take?Plan for more time than a passenger car. Large, heavy glass needs longer cure time to bond safely, and we won't rush it — we'll tell you exactly when your rig is safe to drive.

Can you fix foggy or cloudy motorhome windows?Yes. Fogging usually means a failed seal letting moisture between the panes. We can delaminate, dry, and reseal the window, or replace it with an upgraded seal system when the damage is severe.

Can you replace glass on an older or discontinued RV?Yes. When parts aren't available, we fabricate custom-cut glass to fit your existing frames.

Do you handle RV and Sprinter van insurance claims? We do — we'll document the damage, help you file, and often direct-bill your insurer. Many glass-only claims waive the deductible.

Do you calibrate ADAS after replacement?Yes, in-house, for both motorhomes and Sprinter vans equipped with camera and radar safety systems.

Note: due to the complexity of RV and motorhome glass, our standard warranty doesn't automatically apply — warranty terms are outlined at the time of your consultation.
